Oil cooler line install questions...
 

I'm trying to install the rear oil line, but it just won't line up with the hole on the engine block...

Anyone have any ideas how to get it to move where it should be?

I'm also trying to get the starter installed but I'm not sure which bolt I'm supposed to use...

can't seem to find one of my transmission bolts either.

I found doing the rear bolt on the oil cooler lines first to be a bit easier. You have more room to work on the end that goes to the oil cooler. Just do it first and don't tightening to down....then see if you can attach the one on the front and it should be good.

Yep, you have to connect the rear line first.

That makes sense... I did connect the front one first. I tried to take it back off but it was kind of a pain so I gave up on it...

I'll try it again tommorow (then it's back to school until I can find a ride home *again*...

I also need a new intake air temp sensor since one of the prongs broke off mine (it was weak, but it finally went by itself).

Then need to attach the clutch slave cylinder, find the last transmission bolt, hook up a few more connectors, install and hook up the starter, plug the battery in, give it some oil and coolant, and feed the harness back into the car, plug the ECU back in...


and then find out where the hell some of these hoses go... mainly vacuum or ventilation hoses.

Also need to epoxy one broken plastic part (ventilation)...

And bleed the brakes (installed a new brake MC today)...

And that's all just to get it drivable... not to fix all the smaller things that are wrong with it (there's a lot).
