Oil cooler line fitting question
This is in reference to the fitting that comes off the front cover and connects to the oil line going to the oil cooler. Mine is all screwed up and i need a new one, can I get this anywhere else but mazda? Like is it on of those universal plumbing fittings I could get at home depot or something? If so know the thread pitch/size/etc? Any advice would be helpful, thanks.

You could either get the Racing Beat +$100. using AN fitting version or go to a hydraulic shop and have one made using your stock fittings.
I had a set made that will probably last forever at a hydraulic shop and only cost $40. |

I had a set made that will probably last forever at a hydraulic shop and only cost $40. "Adapter Fitting 16MM Part No. 11901 Adapter Fitting 18MM Part No. 11902 " Both of those are $9.80, unless you think I'm talking about the whole oil cooler LINES, which I'm not. I already have SS corksport oil cooler lines, I'm looking for JUST the fitting that comes out of the front cover and connects to the oil cooler line. |
Oh and this is not something I'm looking at ordering online, I'm trying to get this ASAP as I'm in the process of putting my motor back in. Just finished the rebuild and port and I'm trying to get it in the car and running as soon as I can so I can get some of the break-in done before school starts (week and a half).

Well Mazda failed me again. The fitting that goes into the front cover that hooks to the oil cooler line that I need is NOT sold seperately, only with the actual lines.
