Oil consumption on 88 s4

Hi

i picked 88 s4 about a month ago, trying to figure out the car is running okay or need rebuild.

the car is in rough condition.

i should start with at least put back exhaust on,

it's been chopped after manifold(also cut on airpump pipe too.)

airpump belt is disconnected. No power to airpump now.

It starts up with 3-4 crank?(like... i takes 1or 2 second on cranking) and it burns oil every time when I cold start it.

about 5~ish minute, it burns oil, somehow amount is different depends on weather(or just random every day...). But after this 5min, it stops burning a lot, not even visible.

after 5 min, it revs up with no additional oil smoke or burn.

i always run it until gets to at least temp meter pass C(old) on tach, and turns off.

Since car is in shitty condition, i understand anything could happen or on going problem.

but every time I check the oil dipstick, level is just fine, even after burning that much of cloud 5min every start up.

also I can see wet floor of oil(not a puddle) at where cut exhaust pipe is.

no check engine light, no hesitation on revving.

Totally new to rotaty engine, rx7. what would be you guys check in first? I will give any further information as much I know and understand :)

generally a small puff of smoke is acceptable on startup, more than that the engine is maybe tired, but it will still happily run until its so bad you can't see the house anymore
