What's the deal with our cars? I found very little info when I searched.

Is it true our cars have OBD0? If so, what does that really do? My friend just got an OBD Scanner for Windows. Do our cars have plugs anywhere for that sort of thing?

What are my options for running my car through a laptop with a dyno program?

If it matters I have a series 4 (1988).

Cheers,
Cody

The nearest you'll get to OBDII is the PocketLogger RTEK2.0 or using the link the guy with the convertible just gave above.

On the RTEK2.0 there is a diagnostic page you can go to to look at inputs/outputs to see if they're functioning.
