You want one for cheap?&nbsp Get a generic one with a bare wire pigtail.&nbsp Crimp on a male 1/4" or 0.250" inch spade connector, and it'll plug right in.&nbsp Generic O2 sensors like this are like $25-$30 from your local auto parts stores...

Is there a difference in the cheap ones and the ones that cost like $130?

Yeah, the $100 plug to plug right into your car... :)

Seriously, all the zriconium-based (narrow-band) O2 sensors are basically all the same.&nbsp You're going to have people who argue some are better than other and some are faster responding to others - I find all these claims a lot of BS.

I put a Bosch in mine I had heard good things about them. I suspect Ted is right however most O2 sensors are the same. You can get heated ones but they have no performance benefits they just heat up faster.

I use Bosch on ALL my cars.

$18

I once conducted a search on this subject and came across this one thread were a member on this forum announced (i cant remember his name or else i would have asked him) that he had just purchased a Bosch O2 sensor with the OEM connectors as opposed to the universal one. if i recall correctly, i believe he had purchased it at an Autozone in Fl. However, when i called my local Autozone and other parts store here in NY, they all stocked the universal type.

Can anyone confirm there's such product and if so, where can we pick one up?

Thanks,
Steve w.

I buy generic 3-wire ones, cause the heating element bring them up to temp a lot quicker. :)

If I didn't care about that, I normally get a 1-wire generic one and just crimp on a male spade to fit the harness.

Yeah i just purchased my Bosch O2 sensor today. Most places stock the universal one, but i got the one that is a direct OEM replacement for the RX-7. it was 37 dollars. Of course they have to order it though so i will get tomorrow!! Yea no more lazy O2 sensor!

Oh another ?. What about the rotaries extreme temps doesn't that matter w/ the O2 sensor?

Nah, those things actually like the high heat if you can believe that...

Low temps actually hurt the O2 sensor, as it can't burn off all the deposits that foul the zirconium element inside.

The place down from me has the Bosch O2 sensors with the connector. If I'm not mistaken I think its an Autozone. Where in NY are you?
