O.k I give up!! Where is theA/C compressor wire
 

I've searched all over the internet in the service manuals (that are too blurry to see)

I am installing A/C in to the 87 turboII. Where is the wire to turn on the compressor??

The previous owner had removed all the A/C under the hood.

So, where do I start looking From the logicon to where to where.

Help me trace this wire.

It might take a while to load the wiring file but it is clear enough to tell you what is what. You have the ability to enlarge the diagram size to make things more apparent.

In the engine compartment, near the front of where the A/C compressor is, look for a single black wire with a single white/opaque or black connector housing. It's part of the main engine bay harness that runs along the left frame rail. The wire is roughly between the trailing coils and engine bay fuse box.

Do you have the file?

My car is heavily modified and most everything has been touched.

Where does it come out of the firewall or main harness near the passenger foot rest area??

Okay, if the wiring has been extensively modified (cut), then you need to look for the main wiring bundle that comes out of the firewall on the LEFT side (assuming this is a LHD car) and runs along the left frame rail.

None of the A/C wiring in the engine bay is in the ECU harness, which exits the right side of the engine bay (below the sub-zero /cruise actuator) and runs to the enigne.

The left side. Refer to your FSM for wire color. The Body electrical section has the wire color codes, and the diagrams for the Logicon and ECU are in the wiring digram section. Look for a single white plug that fits the plug on your A/C compressor, the wire should be black and it should be at the frame rail below the main engine bay fuse box. If the connector was cut, you'll have to open the wiring bundle and find that wire.

or fuck it all and run a new fused power wire from the cabin to the compressor with a switch in the cabin to turn the compressor on or off. this of course will bypass the pressure safety switch so if the air ever stops blowing cold then you need to check the freon level before fragging the compressor.

you'll spend hours going through diagrams to see what is or isn't still there. the wire you're looking for Satch described, it is a white box end connector that is tied to the battery loom just below the fuse box inside the engine bay. if it isn't there it probably was cut out, and who knows how far upstream. then there's the pressure switch wiring, which also needs to be attached and sits just inboard of the RF headlight and the relays to control it all which sit at the front of the engine bay, right in front of your stock radiator(lol?) on that highly modified heat furnace in the engine bay.

It's a bit tough to see, but there's a connector with a black wire in the pic. What I've previously posted describes where the wire is in the main engine bay harness.

So I guess I'll test it when I get back.
