not sure how to describe this...
so the epic saga of me trying to get my rebuild fired up continues
i knew i was getting fuel cause i was flooding it every other time i turned it over so i change the cas and leading coils, no im getting solid spark too but im still not getting it running, re time it, still nada, change the ecu, no it starts to pop but the battery is getting low so i put my dad 06 cummins on the job to charge the battery, it finally half way runs, but i had to leave the fuel pump off to keep it from flooding, and the pump seems to draw tons of current, causei plug it in while a friend turns it over and it automaticly sounds like a huge load has been put on it, and whenever it pops like its gonna start the oil pressure guage goes up some b4 it does. anyone have any ideas what may be the problem? thanks Dennis |
Do the de-flood routine. Pull the EGI fuse, remove the leading plugs, crank the engine for 5-10 seconds, squirt a couple of ounces of oil into each plug hole, replace the plugs/wires and the EGI fuse and crank the engine with your foot off the gas pedal.
