A grand in parts alone? I don't even want to think about how much more labor will be.

I'm buying a used one (hopefully it will be good). I'll get the half shafts from Splin.

it is most likely the halfshaft from what you have said
if the axle stubs are moving that much, you will know from the extreme oil leak.

I've stopped driving the car. The interior of the car has now developed a squeak from the vibrations :wallbash:

There won't be any updates to this thread until the end of the month (at least). Car is going into a body shop for a full repaint on Friday while I am out of town for spring break. I've sourced half-shafts from Splin but I have yet to find a diff. I suppose I will have the parts by the time I get back on the 25th.

I'll update the thread once the rear end components have been swapped for future searching purposes.

Well after a long wait my 7 is finally back on the road. My diff was definitely shot. Swapping for a good one almost solved the problem.

My stupid tires have uneven wear. More problems, yay!
