noisy diff
 

I recently noticed audible gear whine from my diff. Is this the begining of the end?

Tell me what to check. Yes it has new fluid in it!

hhmm.. doesnt sound too good, but may be nothing. What weigh gear oil did you slap back there? Maybe bust out some synthetic and it may save you. What type of diff is it?

it's a T2 lsd. I think it was 75W-90? I'm sure i used exactly what the manual told me to.

It only started making noise about a month after i changed the oil. Maybe I should do the synthetic thing.
