No power to cigarette lighter

Hey,

My question is my cigarette lighter does not work. I checked for power and it will have power intill you plug something into it. Does anyone else have this problem?

Check the ground. Faulty ground=intermittant operation.

Not sure, but my cigarette lighter didn't work either. Then one day out of boredom I pushed it in and it worked. Kind of random I know, might have been a loose wire.
