Dude, that front looks fantastic. Actually you had the same idea I did. I really liked the looks of the Border front, but not the price. I knew Corksport made replica of the one type but not other... I just wouldn't have the guts to cut up the bumper. But now knowing how good it can turn out, I may have to think about it.

Better yet, call Corksport up and show them what you did. Maybe then they'll get their butts in gear and make a replica of this Border type also.

Anyway, great job man. It really looks good!!

Thats awesome! That's what I loved about my n/a. The front end was completly custom. It's cool to have a rare body kit, it's even cooler to be the only one. Good for you, and the expense will keep the copycats at bay.

FYI in 99.5 the A4 changed over to the solid 1-piece headlights, and I belive the HID was only an option, but you wont find them in the pre 99.5 cars. Pretty much all the 99s I have seen have been after the switch, so not too many 99s had the 2 piece lights. so look at probably 99-2001. Although those might be from the new model A4 (a bit different) thats from 2002 to present, and im sure all those are HID.

I actually have two setups including the Audi ones and the RE Aemimya clones, I am not sure which ones I will use yet. Here is another pic of my car. it is almost ready for paint and hopefully will be blue (not sure which) within the next week or two. I will definitly have to post some pics then. As for marketing the light kits, I really don't know how I could mass produce them if I wanted to really. Plus if I did make more they would have to cost a lot since it is pretty time consuming, and I would hate to charge a lot for something like that. Also finally, I am going to currently be the only one with anything like these on this planet.......as far as I know.

P.S. Yes I did mold a TII hood scoop on my aluminum hood, (centered, NOT offset), and what a PITA it was! But I could not find a TII hood around here at all.

P.S. the headlights have some mirror lining now instead of the flat black look, so they look more OEM now. I will post some more pics later tonight.
