Don't forget to replace the harness if you are replacing a burnt switch, or the same problem will continue to happen.

I've been using a relay on my melted connector for several months now. No problems, no flickering, good bright lights. I've got a good harness & switch on the shelf, but I have a feeling that's where it's going to stay. :)

Its your car-B-que

No car-B-Q, it's fine.

Pics of my connector can be found in this thread.

The negativity is really unecessary. :(

You are still using this connector?:

If you are... you are just waiting for a fire. Not being negative, merely suggesting that I would not drive a car with the lights on that has a harness that burnt!

You need to replace that harness. It's like a 15 minute job. You will either burn out another switch or burn out the wires if you do not replace it.

You can choose to ignore this, but I would consider it the same as a leaking PD.

Is this the infamous harness I read about all the time????::::http://www.mazdatrix.com/o86elect.htm

I must be lucky, so far.
