Let me know what you think

liv 02-05-06 11:34 AM

clean that engine bay

adrock3217 02-05-06 11:36 AM

DAMN.

That's one word I would use to describe it. Along with WOW and SEXY.

Those rims, with that color + body kit...work so well! Fantastic car!

91mazdarx7 02-05-06 12:06 PM

looks real good what bodykit is that

Xbladr 02-05-06 01:39 PM

Im not sure its similair to the gp sports style kit I got it off of ebay... it was not by any means the best kit but i paid 450 shipped to my door and then worked with it a little and got it to fit pretty damn well... haha yea i know i need to clean the engine bay... I will do that in the spring when I install the garret t06 60-1 turbo and manifold as well as 3"dp and TID and air filter... I will also be installing an retek 1.7 and safcII for fuel control with 880cc secondaries and will run an fmic eventually all this on prob no more than 10-12 psi

And thanks for the comments guys I appreciate it

DirkyDirka 02-05-06 01:57 PM

hey wut up man the car looks nice. i was wondering how much a paintjob like that cost. i wanna get mine repainted red, just trying figure out how much i should pay. i want a good paint job and if its notto much a rare red that grabs peoples attention! :) well lmk

RX-7tII88 02-05-06 02:02 PM

I see you have an s4 and that is the GP Sports body kit right? Which is for s5's. Did you have any trouble with fitment? And do you plan to leve no trim or get s5 trim.

Looks great though.

KeloidJonesJr. 02-05-06 02:04 PM

lookin' good.

lupin 02-05-06 02:14 PM

I like your 7, you must see so many ricer civics in lowel. I'm from lynn.

NeCr0mStR 02-05-06 02:51 PM

What body kit is that?

did you need to modify it a bunch or was it pretty straight from the get go?

Xbladr 02-05-06 03:38 PM

yea it definately took a good amount of modification to get it to fit correctly... in fact thats why I molded the sides and rear because otherwise it wouldnt have looked right... I painted it myself and even you get a decent paint job it can cost 1k easily so if you are looking to re do your cars paint in red then plan for 1k.

Haha lupin yea its actually pretty crazy how many ricer civics there are here it sucks... although it helps some of the guys that arent ricers I know a few kids that have subtle lip kits and big rims etc... that appear to be ricers but have turbod b16 and b18 even a few turbo d16 and to be honest they are pretty damn quick for a front wheel drive piece of tin.

Rx7TII no I dont like the molding so I opted to go without it... for some reason it just isnt appealing to me

NeCr0mStR 02-05-06 03:40 PM

cool man it looks dope in my opinion. I am trying to find something that will bring the back bumper down with the side and front lines of the car without requiring major mods or anything... once again your setup looks dope and I can't wait to see complete.

lupin 02-05-06 10:08 PM

Does one of those guys happen to have a green hatch with a big black area above the right rear wheel? There is a guy that comes out fishing on the boat I work on, but then again lowel is a big town. I think he put a gsr in it.

Xbladr 02-06-06 12:39 AM

na Lowell is huge in fact I dont even think I have seen that hatch... when you say black area like is it primered or something? because I am not going to look for it

Needa13b 02-06-06 12:49 AM

I think your exterior looks fantastic. But like liv said, "clean that engine bay" Nice work with your transformation. I think those wheels and bodykit look great. I never thought I would say that a bodykit and rims looked great, but here I am. Very nice job.

Xbladr 02-07-06 10:42 AM

thanks man... yea I def do need to clean the engine bay and like I said i dont really drive it in the winter so when spring comes around it will get a nice cleaning with some simple green and what not... thanks again for the comments guys I appreciate it

Bukwild 02-07-06 11:22 AM

a great way to clean the engine bay is use compressed air. I had a oil cooler line split and oil go everywhere and was tuff to clean up the engine bay lower areas. But a little brake cleaner and compressed air got it right out and blasted it on to the belly pan. So now I just have to blast off the pan outside on to the street. Trust me it took years of built up gunk away in seconds. Best result ever!

NCRX791 02-07-06 11:47 AM

car looks great..love the color and the wheels......I hope you plan on putting a fmic with that 60-1 set up and I dont know if the rtek will work with 920 sec....just heads up...

Xbladr 02-07-06 08:49 PM

well the rtek will just be a base setup and I will use the SAFCII to fine tune it... not the best way to do it I would be better with a Megasquirt but nobody wants to touch that up here which is lame... also the RTEK SAFC combo has seemed to work for some so I figured I would give it a shot... and yes an FMIC will def be part of my upgrades this spring

unek87 02-07-06 09:11 PM

looks great with the wheels i really like the rear spoiler. and by the way how are those projector headlights?

autopilot 02-07-06 09:45 PM

Looks good.

When it was red, your car was just like mine, right down to the dent on the front passenger side. ( Mine's 86 NA, though ) My red is faded so I'm planning on getting it painted this spring.

Xbladr 02-08-06 10:10 AM

Haha auto it does look identical to mine except for the wheels I didnt have wheels untill after all the body mods but yea I am definately happy with the outcome... The projector headlights actually work much better than the stockers despite what most people say but be prepared you will have to adjust them to get them right... but they look great and you can upgrade to better bulbs eventually or even HID's

eriksseven 02-08-06 03:34 PM

Yo bladr, i might've already asked you this in another thread right after you painted your car (was that you?) but how much did your paintjob cost you for supplies etc.?

JoshRX7 02-08-06 04:24 PM

Looks like show with no go right now... work under the hood then worry about the shiny stuff. It looks pretty good, but you've got your priorites wrong... you asked.... :) Surprised I'm the only one that has this opinion.

Xbladr 02-08-06 07:16 PM

lol josh rx7 its already the turbo model and the reason there is no go is because its winter what am I going to do with 300 hp in the snow? But if you look I have all of the stuff already purchased for ex the turbo manifold downpipe etc. Its all just waiting to be installed so dont worry its coming... and erikseven yea it was me you asked in another thread
