NEW TII wiring harness??
Does anybody know where I can buy a NEW engine wiring harness for an 87 TII?? The one that came with my new engine has some pretty whipped terminals and I figure its probably easier and smarter to just buy a new one to stop later problems from happening. Thanks for the help, it's GREATLY appreciated!

Ive been checking both areas including the other forum with no real luck. If there is one, its in the same shape as the one I have...

You could make one from scratch.
Or maybe get one designed for a standalone like haltech and modify it back to fit the stock ECU plug? |
see if you could order one from a mazda dealership but that =like 1000

Yep, any new harness will be super expensive. You might as well get a used standalone with harness for the money you would spend.

Well... On that note, what do you guys recommend?? FCON, Mega squirt...

microtech

do it like me...
get a used harness (mine was 80.000km old), strip it COMPLETELY, give you some time, soldering tools and new isolation tape.... looks like new :) |
I just did that to one harness I have as a back up specifically for my car.
I just got a S4 low impedance harness and am about to go over it. I've found some nast wires and plan to use my harness scraps to fix them. BY the end I shoudl have a harness which will function like a new one plus a few goodies like extra ground points which all connect. I'm adding a Passenger fende r to boost sensor to Engine block ground. Along with a ECU ground to chassis point. I'm going to sell it so if someone's interested I could make it specifically for them. Here are pics of the one I did as back up for my conversion. https://img244.imageshack.us/img244/...im00101kr9.jpg and all the useless wires I pulled for emissions and stuff https://img244.imageshack.us/img244/...im00100iu7.jpg |
S4 TII NEW Harness is NLA.. Gone forever...Mazda discontinued the part.. Find a used oone and patch it up or go standalone
