Hey all...

Been busy fer a while .

I just got some new rims and tires, I think they look awesome on a seven !

Enkei Etoria 17" RS7 type ...Kumo tires

what ya think?

Kory_yahi 01-26-05 06:30 PM

what was the costage$

Mark'sMazda 01-26-05 06:30 PM

I like those a lot, huge improvement over stock.

only thing i would do differntly, is run a spacer in the rear, to bring the wheel out a little.

Tiers 01-26-05 06:31 PM

Cost was under a grand :) :)

Bigretardhead 01-26-05 06:46 PM

I would run some spacers all around, and also lower it a bit. nothing like a wheel that barely fits under the fenders. :) I mean, I like the design of the wheel, but the fitment isn't so great...

Tiers 01-26-05 06:48 PM

fit is same as stock...but i take your meaning.

I agree that spacers to bring em out a bit would be cool but would have to do front and back not just rear as I hate the feel of wider rear, I tend to like to slide/drift my car :)

and yeah, I think it would be good to do spacers both front and back(but don't get too big unlessyou have longer lug studs)...but what does drifting/sliding have to do with not liking the rears to be wider...???

oh, and if you like how they fit, then cool. leave them as is. :)

I like/am used to the control when going sideways...I remember in a few miscle cars I have buikt that a wider then front tire gives a not so balanced feel.

Mind you a seven is a whole different animal but the "feel" going sideways theory I think would still apply.

it just widen's the stance of the wheel, doesn't acually make the wheel itself wider. Muscle cars generally have an acually wider TIRE and WHEEL to plant more rubber on the ground. I agree that put some small spacers all the way around though and not just rears.

what's the offset on those? I really like the seven spoke design. Appropriate for the RX-7 I suppose.

Tiers 01-27-05 10:51 AM

Ya 7 spoke was what I was lookin for :)
