im looking into getting a 2nd gen RX-7, need to ask some questions first, is it true that 13b's have a max RPM's of 17K? 2nd, are rotarys easier to rebuild than piston egines? 3rd, how much trouble is it to put in a 3 or 4 rotor in a 2nd gen? (im sure there probably a tread for it already so if someone could link me to it, id be greatful) 4th, how much $$ is too much for a non-turbo 2nd gen RX-7? thats all for now, kevin |
1) no (atleast nothing stock)
2) yes (well, i don`t know shit about piston engines so for me its definately easier ;) 3) http://fc3spro.com/TECH/SWAP/swap.html 4) depends on location, prices vary a lot |
From the FAQ at the top of the page... Read it, live it, love it...

1) thats something ive never heard
2)i personally think its easier to rebuild a rotary than a piston engine 3) i have no clue on that 4) it all depends on the condition of the car the amount of mods the mileage and the location. i havent really seen a n/a 7 go for over 4500 and thats modded and in pristine condition. |
