New FC owner - Greetings - Video

I am new to the FC world and i just wanted to say hi.

I always wanted to have an RX-7 and this TurboII will be my project car.

I hope that through time i will be a valuable member of the 2nd gen forum and the rotary community in general.

Check out the video of my car in my sig.

Awesome 1st post welcome to the forum :). Just to let you know this forum has a very good search feature and most of the popular topics have been cover a “couple” of times. What are you plans with the car (drag, auto-x, road race, drift, general street car)?

I see you have over 990 posts already, what kind of equipment were you terrorizing the streets in before? Fb or Fd?

A drift RX-7 is what I am aming for.
I used to drag race an N/A european car but i got bored of it. Whoever has the most money invested in his car, is the fastest.
In drifting- grip racing the driver is a key factor in the equation.
I just want to be a better driver with my RX-7.
I have FD knowledge (explains the posts) and wanted to have an FD but my car is as good as it gets and i am very lucky i got it.

Welcome to the wonderful world of FC's. Since you've obviously been posting here for a while, you know the basic things not to do. From my limited experience (making lots of sideways turns on my near-bald tires) and vidoes of others, FC's make great drift cars. And even if they didn't, theyre still incredibly fun to drive. There was a great video of Chris (Carx7) and Jrat's cars at a drift meet in Arizona that was posted a few months back. I can't find the link, so I'm not sure if its still available. Anyway, keep us posted on your drift experiences.

I'm new too, but no prior experience with anything else =D But have fun with it; I think you'll find FC's have a lot more of a "fun" factor than most other cars. Plus rotary owners are all pretty friendly.

excellent vid too. looks like you had frikkin steven spielberg shooting for you (compared to most in-car videos posted on the forum :) )

Thank you guys for that warm welcome. :grouphug:
This forum is one of the reasons i now have a rotary powered car.
I 'd like my experiences with the car help others too.
I know some basic stuff about the rotary FD mostly, but i don't have prior experience with the FC.
Do the FD rules count here too?

I work as a web developer in 4 automotive magazines so a guy from the performance-tuning magazine took the small vid
without even letting me know.

If you mod more than intake, dowpipe, catback the ecu needs tuning especially if you install a midpipe.
Bigger radiator, porting wastegate, boost, water temp gauges, turbo timer, boost controler....(not with that order).
