negative camber with coilovers and steering wheel shakes when braking at high speeds
okay ive had this problem since ive installed the coilovers the front passenger side is eating up my tires badly. a shop said that the wheel bearings are bad? also front driver side has just a little negative camber.
also my steering wheel shakes like crazy when i brake above 50 mph |
lift the car up and spin the wheels by hand, if it wobbles and makes noise = bad wheel bearing.
Wheel shaking during braking could be brake rotors warped or pads seated incorrectly. What coilovers do you have? adjust the camber via camber plates. Also your toe is probably out of wack too since you threw on the coilovers since ride hieght changes will affect the toe. .so check that out.. With the toe being off, i could imagine that being why your tire didnt last, which could have also killed a wheel bearing too |
Brake rotors. Sounds like they're warped now hence the shaking when braking at high speeds.

Yeppers.
While you're getting all that stuff replaced, take a look at your lca bushings. Do they look cracked/rotted? Now would be a good time to replace them with more consistent poly bushings. |
