Need some advice on guages and bov
I am thinking of installing a bov because my engine didn't come w/ the stock one. I was looking at the ebay one's but I don't really know what I am looking at and if any of them are worth spending money on. I was very confused on what pull type bov meant too... The other thing is I am thinking of installing an after market boost gauge and air/ fuel gauge so I can keep an eye on whats happening. I want some nice looking ones that are also accurate. I kind of like the one's that black out when they are off but I don't even know who makes them. Is there a good gauge thats also cheap? Any advice is welcome.

cheap gauges here:
glowshift.com but dont ask me if they are good or accurate. the only accurate afm is a wideband... nothing cheap about those |
autometer makes good, somewhat cheap gauges. if you want expensive electronic gauges look to defi or greddy. i wouldnt cheap out on a shitty ebay BOV. hks, tial and greddy make high quality BOV's and can be had for $100-$200. you get what you pay for.

turbo XS RFL
Blitz SSQ I have a ebay bov on my car.. sounds nice and works good (came with my intercooler kit I bought off a member) |
which autometer gauges are good? to many different ones

Is this a good option? Its a Turbo XS and its made for low boost which is perfect w/ my stock turbo I would guess and I am not looking at a larger turbo anywhere in the near future.

spend your money right on quality the first time .. save up a bit more and go for the following:
Greddy V2 (amber) gauges HKS SS bov |
what makes greddy gauges any better than the autometer gauges? The name? they are prettier? i have never had a problem with them and they are affordable, and look good IMO. Fucntional and affordable. I have never understood why Greddy was so damn expensive other than the fact that they are a big name.
