Need instructions on old school HKS Twin Power

I was curious if anyone on here had the instructions in order to install an old school HKS twin loop system. It is the one before that shiny bronze looking box. I can't find them anywhere and would really like to know how to install it.

Thanks,
-Brandon

Does anyone have any info on the old school twin power?

How many wires does it have? Not sure if there is any difference in the new or the old system but I have the new one and the instructions for it. Let me know if you need it and I'll post them tonight.

is it a CDI box? if so you should have two wires in the coil two wires out the coil. and a power and a ground.

Im not fully sure I know it is an old HKS twin power thats all I have heard great things about the new ones and can get this for a pretty good deal and didnt know if it would be worth it or if anyone have instructions or anything.

Definately doesnt look as pretty or compact as the new one. Before I installed my twin power unit I would get tons of misfire with 1000cc secondaries untuned. Immediately after the install with no tuning all my misfire was gone. Great unit IMO, high price tag but worth it to me considering it with control all the coils in one small compact unit compared to using 3 msds which would be more expensive.

Yea im not fully concerned with pretty or compact at all i really couldnt care about that and i def heard the new ones are amazing but i cant afford it right now. I would def like to know if anyone has experience with this one or knows how to hook it up... i have no idea how old it is.

PM me later tonight if you can and I'll post the install instruction/wiring diagram. I got home late last night and forgot.

The only problem is the one I am looking at has all different colors so I am not fully sure if it will work. I think I am gonna give it a shot and just see what happens

does it say ROTARY TYPE? if not disregard below and follow the instruction that was posted earlier. If not continue reading.

It looks like a LOW Impedence CDI type.... I believe the YELLOW sticker is the LOW type and the RED is HIGH Impedence type. It could be either way around... best to call HKS tech line to find out. You have to make sure you have the right type. I believe it was the Low Impedence type. I do know that if it is the CDI type, you need 3 units, not just 1. I would hold off on installing and try to find out exactly what you need first. make sure when you call HKS to say that your are trying to install the old school twin power on a rotary.

I have FD and I have the twin power DL1 universal. I also have the plug and play harness for the twin power rotary. But it does not plug together. Do anyone have the diagram for this twin power
So I can use this harness. Is will be great if there picture. Or what ever you have.

Thanks
