Need help (replacing slave cylinder)

im replacing the slave cylinder due to leakage.... I managed to take both bolts that hold it down ...... but im reall having trouble removing the clutch hose line.... Ne1 know any tricks so i can remove it and get it done.

Im I also gonna have to replace the hose too. If so should i get stainless steel or just the regular rubber?

When we did mine we just cut it off and got a new hose. we used just plain ol brake line just get the right thread on it and bend it to fit

flare nut wrench so you dont round off the head

Just remove it where it connects to the hardline since you plan to replace it. There's a brake clip you have to remove, then use a flare nut wrench on the hose (think its 17mm?) and flare nut on the hardline (10mm). I think I used a flare nut wrench to hold the hose and regular wrench at the hardline nut to break it free.

Flare nut wrench and the stainless line is cheaper than the OEM part.

Well if your goin for cheap, bolt the slave back to the tranny then since the cylinder is held good try to loosen the hose, so all you have to worry about is holding the wrench not turning the wrench while holding the slave
