need help pls w/ 88vert

car flooded the other day and i unpluged fuel pump started car pluged it back up car smoked till it warmed up then it started running hot no hoses are busted. i love my car and now i have to drive my slow ass jeep to work. pls help me get it back on the road. idk shit about rx7 this is my first and it will stay with me forever i love this car so i need to learn it, hell i can't even find spark plugs at the parts store. any ideals would help
