Need help identifying TPS test connector and adjust screw
When I get off the throttle, there's a certain point where the car just jerks forward, after which if i squeeze back on the gas it the car will jerk backwards when I go past that same point on the throttle.
I'm pretty convinced that my TPS is misadjusted (or am I completely off base here?) Anyway, I searched the web, the archives, and the FSM, but I still can't find the test connector (I can only find a yellow 2 pin connector near the airbox?) and there are many screws near the throttle body, so I can't tell which is the correct adjust screw. Car is running perfectly other than this minor annoyance so I'm afraid of screwing everything up if I turn the mixture or idle screws instead. Does anyone have any fotos of these items? Google found an article on fc3s-pro.com that looked like it had those fotos, but the site is down! |

Hmm...OK looked at the parts diagram from fc3s.org, looks like the part that has a black plunger to the bottom front of the TB is the TPS right? With the plunger getting pushed to the left as u squeeze on the gas?
Will go and try to trace the wires from that tomorrow. |
That's the one, has 3 wires coming from it. The test connector is floating around near the air flow meter area, it's a green 3 wire plug, only one over there.
