Need help with fuel pump wiring
So the previous owner(s) of my 88 turbo II have deleted all kinds of stuff.. I'm trying to get it running again so I'm not sure what should be connected/not. Any help is appreciated.
What is this small yellow connector in the picture? It was connected. Looks like they deleted the fuel pump resistor? Is that what the disconnected larger clear connector is? The yellow connector really has to stretch to connect there. Doesn't seem natural. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...ba792aa3f1.jpg Also, there's some vaccum ports just below the injectors that are disconnected... looks like they go to the oil injectors? Is that required? They're kinda hard to see in the picture. Buried. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...988e9e2eab.jpg |
Are there two wires in the Yellow connector, and if so, are they colored Brown and a Black wire? If so, then the plug is the fuel check connector and it should not be connected to anything.

And yeah, they're important- left open, they allow air the ECU can't account for into the combustion chamber, they're giant leaks. |
Cool. I thought that was the fuel pump check.. I pulled back the electrical tape and the black wire on that yellow connector is very much melted. So. Yeah. Idk why they connected that there, but was no bueno. As far as the metered air feeds go.. I suppose I'll figure out from a diagram where theyre suppose to go. No wonder this thing doesn't run.
