Check the obvious stuff first... Did you blow a fuse?

"Yellow wire" I assume you are talking about the plug on the drivers side speaker/strut tower?

thats the "service coupler" right, for the fuel pump check....I just know that you are supposed to hear the fuel pump kick on when you jump this thing and turn the key to on, it is used to prime the fuel system after service. Normally when you turn the key to on the fuel pump will buzz just for a second and then goes quiet until you crank the motor over, but you can jump that coupler to prime it after draining the pressure from the lines.

Does your car start now? Why do you think your pump doesn;t work? Do you hear it whirring in the tank when you turn the key to the on position w/o the jumper?

Maybe the relay??

*** It looks weird seeing my car all over the page.....

go to pg, 4b 73 of that link and check those resistances of that plug ( the fuel pump resistor relay) with a ohmeter.... i don't really know what else to do... we need more info i think.. or maybe a pro will read this and know your answer..

Fuel pump only works if the key is HELD to start or the engine is actually running.

The only other case is when the key is ON and the fuel pump check connector is jumpered.

Turning the key to On and hearing a fuel pump motor for a moment? Ain't happening. Your hearing the air mix motor turning, not the fuel pump.

if you did what??

no fuel coming out of the injectors might be a beast of a different nature than the pump not working, maybe check the fuel pressure with the coupler jumped? Other than that, I'll leave it to hailer's now...your in good hands..

Good luck..
