ran compression test today. looks okay to me.. doesnt it?

i was looking to find some ground that some post was making it sound like could be it, near the firewall? i might be barking up the wrong tree again. the similar thing to the post is that my oil preasure guage is dead.

And if you wanted to verify whether the injector plugs were secured to the primary injectors you could check for battery voltage on pins 3E (front primary) and 3C (rear primary) w/key to on.

When I had that all apart I tested all four pins and they pulled the proper 12v for each of them.

Today I also ferified the afm physically after testing it. just ensureing that the flap was freely moving properly. seemed proper.

Can anyone confirm if this seems like its hitting high enough compression? seems like they spike at around 90ish. only thing i saw of a bad test was like one good two bad pulses.

Does it feel sluggish or bog down then go? Check to make sure your coils are firing properly. Especially grounded. I had a very similar issue and after a month, yes a month of diagnosing I accidentally found out that one of my coils was not grounded properly even though it looked like it was.

Its more like if you give it too much it will bog down, but regardless at a point it will no longer rev any further. I am trying to find a document to locate all the ground i should be concerned with.

i took a piece of battery cable and used it as a ground for the coil (just to test it after i accidentally discovered my issue). so you can do that to test it. Just bolt the cable to the body of the coil. the coils use theyre mounting locations as grounds as well as a harness. so it may also help to clean the mounting surface. if you search my profile i had a thread about a year ago when i was having the issue. may have a vid in it too maybe to compare your issue.

I will for the thread you are talking about.

I was trying to locate the ECU ground on the engine, pulled the cable that connects the alternater and plugs out of the way and found this...

didnt really locate what it collected to. possibly the cause?
