Need help CPU/ AFM/ Error Codes
 

My luck seems to keep kicking to the ground when it comes to making this car run.
So a little about the car.

S5 TII Mods. Aftermarket Air Filter, Blitz BOV, MSD Box, RB DP, Borla Catback, SAFC II (not connected until the car runs well). Running no emissions. Second engine and a second CPU.

Now. With the N370 AFM the car starts but it will idle really low and it will barely run. Lack of power and from the smoke you can tell the Air and Fuel mixture is not good at all. Also I get error code 8 from the computer.

Fine and dandy no problem. So we switched it with my friends AFM that it is working properly on his car and I still get the same crap.

We also tried a NA AFM and now the car not only idles but it also runs good and I don't get the Code 8 from the CPU.

Now the puzzling part. According to may friend the car is not supposed to run without the AFM. <IS THIS TRUE??>. Well not only can I start the car without and AFM or without the throttle sensor but the car runs well without them.

Just don't suggest the wire harness because I am 100% without no doubts that the harness is good (thanks Kevin for the kickass harness at a good price).

What gives??? Any suggestions??

PS. I have not driven the car under load because until we figure this I am not trying to buy a third engine so quick. Also waiting on my registration sticker from GA<<< ha, ha no inspection stickers there!!:rlaugh:

Set your SAFC to Zero or disconnect it or something. Plug your stock AFM back in and see how it runs

SAFC in not connected yet. Didn't want to fart around with that and make matters worse.
