Need help On 89 GTUs TPS

Hi, I have a few questions on the tps. I have had my rc7 89 gtus for a little over a year. the car runs great; the engine light comes on after you let off the gas pedal. I took it to the Mazda dealer, said the tps sensor is bad. I got one off ebay an installed it, but i can't get the car to idle.

I have read some of your threads, I have a couple of questions. Is the full range sensor the closer one to the throttle body and the narrow sensor the next one after that. What is the screw above them for. I used that to adjust the kohms to 1.0 kohms closed wide open is 3.96 kohms, done jsut by opening the throttle plate off the screw above the outer sensor.

The car will start if i hold the pedal down a little ( i believe into the full range area) just cracking the throttle plate. where do i go from here to get the car to idle.

Should the wire be grounded during the ohms reading on the tps. Where is the wire I know between the driver strut and the battery which one? Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I am going to include pics to help on the location of things for me. I also want to know the wire to ground between the strut and battery in the pic

The pins to do the tps kohms reading in the pic are top left and btm middle correct?:wallbash:
