Need Help!!!
 

alright. i joined this forum to get help. my uncle owns a 89 rx7. the last time i saw him i got to drive it and it ran beautifully except for a very loose transmission (had a lot of play in the shifter, i also think the clutch is gone). now 6 months later it wont run :mad: , come out of gear, or release the e-brake. please help me. he said if i could get it running i could have it and i really want to fix it up; especially since mods to my 8 are expensive and have very little hp gains. the last time i tried starting the car it sounded like it wanted to start but just make a (for lack of better terms) puttering sound, perhaps like it wasn't getting fuel or something.

so what i'm asking of you wonderful 7 owners is some direction. i'd like to know all possible thoughts as to:

what are the problems
how i can get them fixed
if i need a new engine where can i get one
can mazda still fix/get me a new engine
what else will i need to do

i also would like to know what oil i should run in it if i get it running again.

i know when i get the car running it will be great again, it'll just need a paint job, some tint, and new wheels :)
