Name This Part: Clutch Assembly
 

So yesterday my clutch pedal started making a clicking noise when i would initially press the pedal in and once it was released.

Upon further inspection there was a little plastic piece that looks like it gets inserted into the clutch pedal where it comes in contact with the clutch switch.

What the heck is it called? And where can I get a replacement? I just looked through every page on mazdatrix's site. I guess I'll have to call the dealership?:scratch:

The little receiver thing on the starter neutral switch?

IMHO, throw that and the switch in the trash, just jumper it. I consider having a starter neutral switch a safety hazard.

(If your car floods or breaks or whatnot, you can use the starter to get your car out of danger)

mine broke too, i used a 6mm bolt and nut to fix it. i'm sure the rubber bumper is available though
