it's a diffuser. It is used to diffuse the fuel flow and propogate good atomization. IF you use really big injectors (like 1600cc) it is often recommended to remove them since, the high pressure and fuel flow will often break them, and sending them in to the engine. Which is bad by the way.

thanks. Is it hard to find people selling them on the forum. I have not checked with the dealer but i would asume they would cost about 60000000$ from them. Would you still recomend them when only using 720cc.

also to my understanding a fuel injector sprays out the fule in millions of little droplets (ok mybe not millions but a lot) now when i look at this little plastic thingy i see about 15-20 wholes, i would thing the millions of droplets bunch up and then only fall through these holes, which let me remind you that there are about 15 holes. I bet the mechanics at mazda know a little more then me, but this is how i see it.

check mazdatrix

check mazdaformance, generally a butt load cheaper than mazdatrix/dealership

yeah i would still use them with the 720, and they're like $7 from the dealer in Abilene so i wouldn't think they'd be much more from your dealer. Comes with O-ring.
