NA guys

Is there anyone on this site that has gotten onti 13's in an NA? If so what mods did it take?

I dont have an NA, nor do I plan on trying to build a 13 second NA, I was just curious what it would take.

Some combo of the following(or all 3):

Lots of weight reduction
N20
bridge/peripheral port job
20B made NA

It might not be a bad idea. you could get plenty of power out of an NA 20B. The only downside is that you wouldn't be able to get the torque that the 20B is capable of w/o forced induction. The torque is probably the single biggest reason people build 20B's.

Ya its been done on 1st gens. I believe that that one got kicked out of the all motor class for being too fast, think it ran 10s.

How about a 13B on a junior size tube rail frame?

NA? i would like a link to that one ;)

BDoty311 03-24-03 03:57 PM

No link but it is in the only copy of Super Street I ever bought. There is two actually, one ran a 10.2 @ 130 the other ran a 10.87 @ 122.9

crazy. I think I need to buy a TII. Only way I'll be fast enough and happy.

i'm not sure what mine will run. after i get all the bugs out i'm hoping for a mid-14. i still have little stuff to do yet, like the under/over drive pulleys and some more weight reduction.
