NA fc 5th gear question?

When i am on the highway doing 120km/h, in 5th, why is the pickup really slow?

is it because it's a cruising gear?

To go fast at higher speed, would it be better to go to 6500 rpm in 4th and then shift to 5th?

oh yea, i have an NA, it gets all it's power and torque at 6500 rpm

5th is an over drive and meant for gas saving so you don't get 10MPG like the TII guys. :p Its not meant for accelerating.

I know your pain man. I just downshift if I really need to accelerate more than that. It's good practice for rev matching too.
