NA fc 5th gear question?
When i am on the highway doing 120km/h, in 5th, why is the pickup really slow?
is it because it's a cruising gear? To go fast at higher speed, would it be better to go to 6500 rpm in 4th and then shift to 5th? oh yea, i have an NA, it gets all it's power and torque at 6500 rpm |
5th is an over drive and meant for gas saving so you don't get 10MPG like the TII guys. :p Its not meant for accelerating.

I know your pain man. I just downshift if I really need to accelerate more than that. It's good practice for rev matching too.
