NA catback single exhaust?
I've been looking at a few but I haven't heard any of them in person. What's a good single exhaust that's decently loud but streetable?

I like my HKS silent hi power exhaust. Not too loud, has a nice tone to it. Never bothered by the cops

I would go with racing beat. That's what I have on my Car and it sounds awesome. It's not to loud and not to quiet a perfect mix of the two

Unless you buy one of their universal mufflers and get piping fab'd

dual is better anyways, at least on an n/a that has nothing to cut off the sharp exhaust notes. 2 mufflers can do that easier than 1.
the RB power pulse mufflers do a decent job if that's what you choose. |
Make sure you sample some of the singles before buying. Open NA rotary exhausts get extremely loud.
Of those I have heard the Apexi GT Spec and HKS Silent Hi-Power my favorites. I ran a GT Spec for a while before going to N1 duals. The duals are louder. None of them are remotely close to the quiet noise level of a Racing Brat system. |

I am having a Megan Racing system put on my 88' very on Saturday with their High flow Cat. I'll let you know how it comes out with pix/audio if I can. I chose a more standard shaped mufflers to keep noise down. The chrome tips are gorgeous with Megan Racing etched on the sides. They do have the N1 style also. I think prices are reasonable.
