hello all, i checked the forum but i could get exaclty what i wanted so sorry if im beating a dead horse. i have a 88 non turbo and id like to keep it that way to save reliabilty, money, and trouble. so my question is this what steps can i take to make my non turbo a street beast, what engine work should i do, what parts should i install, etc. also if its not much trouble could everyone please post helpful websites and rx7 parts stores that i can do more research in. thanks in advance for your replies :devil:

am i to assume that street porting is the same as boreing a piston engine......anymore websites and stores would be greatly appreciated....and some more suggestions on the tuneing as well. thanks for the info

Porting a head or getting an upgraded cam is like steetporting.

Hey skymarshall, do a search on "How to make a beefy N/A". There is a thread that goes on for about 15 pages and it has some really good stuff in it.

What part of Ky are you in, Louisville here.

(Edit) Also, you might want to think about going to a S5 engine setup, the stock 6 port injection is a good 20 HP over the S4 engine. Not sure what all that swap would take, but it can't be to hard and I am sure you could get info off this forum about it.

The position and size of the ports in a rotary engine is analogous to the valve timing and lift in a piston engine. By porting a rotary, you're doing the equivalent of making the valves open earlier/close later.
