N/A sub 7 0-60

From a stock one, what would u need for it to do this? (s5)

Phu5ion 08-03-02 09:51 PM

well you need to get about 30-40 hp. so a complete dual exhaust system isn't a bad place to start.

add an intake, and loose a couple hundred pound and you should just about be there, IMO.

Ask Dre 2000. He knows its impossible....

Just kidding.

Usual mods should do it, TB mod, porting, intake, full exhaust. You need more specific?

vosko 08-04-02 09:54 AM

my old GTU did 0-60 6.6 seconds, with bonez hiflow cat, pacesetter header and intake :)

BonsaiRX7 08-04-02 10:01 AM

cool

I was just wondering to see I should just go for the T2 when I buy, guess so those mods will add up :P

dre_2ooo 08-04-02 12:26 PM

Well, being as stock S5 is about 7.4 secs:

headers : 7.2
Intake : 7.15
anti-cat/catback : 6.9
Manifold Porting : 6.6

Maginal error : ~ 6.4-6.8

so yeah it's possible. A stock S4 TII does it in 6.7 secs.. so you'll be about as fast as that. :)

but if you really want lots of straightline, just get the TII.

jacobcartmill 08-04-02 09:33 PM

what would the stock 0-60 time be on a s4 T2 with intake/full exhaust(no cat) and fcd? isnt it like 6.8 stock? and how many horsepower would that put you up to with the T2?

vosko 08-04-02 09:40 PM

my TII ran the 1/4 mile in 13.7 @100 mph and 0-60 in about 5.5 seconds... with full exhaust, ecu, race clutch, 7psi of boost, some other bolt ons

jacobcartmill 08-04-02 10:52 PM

you got 13.7@100 with only 7 lbs of boost? i run about 7-8 with the stock ecu (yes, i have a fcd so i dont blow my shit up) could i run around a 14et with just a straight pipe(no cat), intake, and fcd? how much power do you think i am at? (at the flywheel)

vosko 08-04-02 11:13 PM

7psi on upgraded turbo, t04b front side. you should be in the mid 14's with stock turbo. it really sucks LOL

RexRyder 08-05-02 01:39 AM

what ECU upgrade Vosko?
