My Tach is off by 800rpm or so... fix for this?
RX-7 store told me that my tach is off by 800rpm or so when compared with the readings from Microtech... they said I might need regrounding or replace the whole gauge cluster. What are the ways to fix this? Will installing an aftermarket tach solve the problem? Or should I just look for a used gauge cluster? Thanks in advance... :(

there was a thread about when the buzzer goes off. It had a thing that calibrated the tach. Was about a week ago, not sure where its at now though...

There's a screw which you can adjust to "fix" this.

Do you happen to know where that screw is?? Thanks a lot for your help, Ted :)

Sorry I did this once, and that was a long time ago! :(
I think there's a thread on this somewhere - it might be in the archive section? -Ted |
