my t2: sometimes really quick and sometimes not

it has a brand new motor with a HUGE streetport... now has 1,200 km's on it..

if the motor is at operating temp, and i shut it off for 10-30 mins, and drive it again, its a shitload faster... until i shut it off again

stock everything else except for FCD, bov, and cone intake filter, and exhaust :p:

anyone got any ideas? :(

thanks,Dan.

Still running the top mount? Heat soak my friend...heat soak.

top mount.. yes... heat soak? so the power is just from the boost being that much cooler? :D

that'd be awesome if it was that,... and not something electrical...

go front mount, you should be able to even with using the stock IC up front you should notice a difference over the top mount setup, heat soak is a problem with ANY intercooler mounted in the engine bay, or you could put an intercooler sprayer on it where it is, and also get a intake temp sensor/gauge. the latter would be less chopping up your car, but it'd be more of a chore.
