it's a sad day for rx=7s.. first up, unpredicable suspention, followed by, cracked rotors.

sorry i guess i should say something positive... i like the short throw and the leather sofa.

fast87t2 04-22-10 09:18 PM

ok and you know all of this how?

FelixIsGod29X 04-22-10 09:44 PM

Should have gotten dimpled/slotted rotors instead of drilled/slotted. Also Tokico blues arent to great for lowering springs, they are more ment for stock springs, dont get me wrong its going to last you awhile. Tokico whites and KYB AGX are more suited for lowering springs because of the different damping. Either way you should like the new set up.

Damn, whats you deal with that suspension? Plenty of people run eibach springs.

I never said anything about the Eibach springs, i think they are alright and i have them on my 7 too.

^^ My post was for lastphaseofthis. Your post was informative.

Those rotors are going to crack. If you can send them back, swap them with some just slotted rotors. Drilled rotors are notorious for cracking.

b/c ive had to replace drilled/slotted rotors on some retards honda...

As for the suspention.. well you know why they call them PRO springs? i wasn't even thinking about that fact you bough blues instead of whites..

"Progressive Spring Design for Excellent Ride Quality"
they also claim better MPG from springs...

So how long do the drilled rotors last?

depends on how hard you drive it.

Hard braking will crack it sooner.

I got Blues with eibach springs on my Turbo, its been a year and its doing fine for regular driving, it absorbs bumps fine, but a little too soft a setup for driving hard.
