Oh, I thought you were doing the work. So what is the total cost for joo:)

SonicRaT 03-02-06 02:40 AM

That wastegate is open dumped under the passanger side of the car, take a look at that undercar pic and follow where the pipes going! Looks like it comes out right at the passanger wheel well, that's gonna be loud!

JoshRX7 03-02-06 03:38 AM

tubular.

janm 03-02-06 06:51 AM

Did you have to take any special steps to restrict oil flow when improving upon the oil inlet on the turbo? Is the line the same ID?

ps Every time I see those exhaust manifolds I am amazed by how nice they look, and how frickin huge they are :)

t04tii 03-02-06 11:54 AM

Its just a -4an feed line, no restrictor. Works just fine on fc oil pressure.

RotaryWeaponSE7EN 03-02-06 03:01 PM

I like the WG dump that looks kool, hopefully u could share a vid when its done. I wanna hear it.

Its not that hard, just takes more time, which obviously costs more. That dump tube took all of 10 minutes.

I know is your car, but why will you butcher it like that? I am all good for removing stuff, but I don't dig cutting the frame\sheet metal like that :(

Good Luck with the manifold, I almost bought one too; but went with an http://www.alienauto.com/

Why did you plumb it in before the ic?
It is well accepted and proven that is the least effective place to plumb it into.
Other than that, looks good so far.

I love those Alien auto manifolds btw. Functional works of art.
The fabricators username is Bad2ndGen or something like that. The one he fabbed up on his car is crazy. Also he has one of the nicest fc's on this board.

I agree, after doing some research; I ended up buying his

BTW - Your manifold is not bad either, I actually called your guy\welder before I bought the alienauto one :)

Again that position is cost effective.
If money were not an issue almost everything on this car would be different.

RX-Heven 03-04-06 01:14 PM

How is one position vs. another more cost effective in this case?
What does a few extra feet of line cost? $0.50

Wow, I have never seen that manifold! Outstanding. So you will be able to retain your ABS ?

James,

That's not my car, its Comitatus :)

My 91 does not have ABS, on any case, the turbo sits way up front. My pics should be up soon :git:

A similar coating as to the gold coating in your manifold, same thing different brand\supplier.
