I had my s4 gauge cluster out the othere day and started my car. wile it was running I pluged it in and none of the gauges would work. the only thing that works is my speedometer. I even tryed the gauge cluster out of my othere fc. still all the gauges wount work. and I have no idea what could coz that. my windsheild wipers wount work ether and I have no idea why.

is there a way I can test that without geting a new switch?

misterstyx69 03-12-13 10:15 PM

did you connect the wiper switch back up when you put the surround back on?

sideways-FC 03-13-13 01:22 AM

yes i pluged the switch in. and i will look in the fsm 2maro then.

barkz 03-13-13 03:45 AM

wow, this thread is full of lazy...

Try pulling the fuse out and putting it back in for the wipers or ones at random.

I had a similar problem with my turn signals a little while back. Still working. Might save lots of time and misery.

Know what would save even more?

Break out your dielectric grease and pull all the fuses, greasing the terminals as you go.

You can thank me later.

Problem bypassed, not solved.

You're losing the dual speed function, intermittent, wash and one touch features rather than spend for a used switch?
You might want to examine your cost/benefit algorithm.
