Damn, well ill look in for sale, or elsewhere before i pay 180...maybe junkyard...

and those arent my hands. those are my friends. he came over around 5PM and worked till 12. mine werent as dirty because i wore gloves part of the time, and cleaned them when i ate dinner....

ya, we had the same problem when we took our engine out...the oil cooler line snapped but lucky for us we had a friend that had a parts car and he let us take the line off of his for free....but your best bet would be to find one in a junk yard and just be carful...a vice grip and a 18 or 19mil will get it off for you.

i have a set of oil cooler lines just hanging out. i almost threw them away... pm me and ill send em out... another thing i wanted to say but looks like im too late is, there is a baffle thing that you can buy that sandwiches in between your oil pan and block that helps with keeping the pickup submerged. its cheap and makes for better reliability. maybe on your rebuild you will do that.

Who cares about a clean engine?

Obviously your a typical teenager if you want to have a nice car but not keep it clean. It would be a good idea to tear it down to a short block and replace most gaskets, i.e. LIM, UIM, Turbo coolant/oil/in/out, oil pan, exhaust gaskets, their ALOT easier to change/ scrap the old gasket off when it's out of the car. But ofcourse once your jdm engine coolant seals let go after 5,000 miles then you could do it then :)

and it is basically down the the block. the only gasket i might not replaces is LIM to block because its already on there...i bought the gasket anyways though. I just ordered block to exhaust manifold, exhaust manifold to turbo, LIM to block, and 2 LIM to UIM gaskets. i had a turbo to DP gasket from 3000 miles ago when i did my exhaust...cost me 50 bucks so i wasnt gonna buy a new one...looks like itll be just fine.

and another question...on the bottom of my radiator...there is a 2 prong plug...it snapped when i tried to pull the connector out. is that a bad thing? haha im not sure cause i havent really looked at it yet, but is it just a thermostat or something?

ok well i pulled both of these out of my primaries....how do i get them out of my other engine without cracking them like i did both of these? i didnt know they were supposed to stay in...thought they were grommets or something then i broke them and was like SHIT!

so...how do i get them out of my other motor?

didnt work on it much today...tired from yesterday, and just couldnt look at a car anymore. got the wiring harness back in, alternator mounted, a few other little things...but not much...gotta get my injectors in, and my vac system all hooked up next. and fuel, and oil, and coolant.....long week ahead....
