Is My Fc Flooded
 
My clutch fluid was out..little did i know..I'm a noob...
anyway i tried to get her started she just bucked.
did this a couple of times, then i realized .. hey you just bought this car and d
didn't change the fluids..so that's when i refilled the fluid..
i went out later that night and she started up... clutch feel returned but now
she just turns over but wont catch..she sparks and tries but nothing..
just put in a new battery as well ....anyone anyone...:wallbash:

Here man try this out. It works for most people and either way you will know if it's flooded or something else is up.

If you turned the car on, let it run for a few seconds, and then shut it off... you probably flooded the engine. Pretty common. Follow the instructions above to de-flood, and in the future, let the engine warm up before you turn it off.

If you've got an S5 (1989-1991), you've got the easy way out. Turn the key to 'start' and floor the accelerator until the car starts. If you've got an S4 (1986-1988) follow the link above.

Damn.. thanks man ..worked like a charm..she runs like crap now..
off to the shop for a tune,flush and new fluids..

I have an S4 and the S5 steps worked for me.....
