My car wonīt shut off. New Engine.
Hello pals, I just installed a reman. Mazda engine to my 1987 N/A (base model, I donīt know if SE or GLS or what). The engine start pretty good, at once. Some minor adjustments. The problem is that the car wonīt shut off, I took the key out the switch, but the car still on. I didnīt install new electrical equipment or something new. Is my car alive? . The car was 5 months stopped before the new engine.
What should I do? Thanx for help. RT. |
Key switch stuck? Relay stuck? If it's been sitting for 5 months, things like that can get sticky.

Check which plug you plugged into the back of the alternator. It should be the white plug with the (I think) black/white wire attached. There are a couple of others there that fit in the same socket, if you messed this up, you can get the same situation.
Ignition switch is another good one... |
Thanks guys, Iīm going to check that points tomorrow morning and I will report back.:)

Thanx guys, it was the alternator plug inverted.
