Are my alignment numbers any good?
My car has been pulling to the left and scrubbing the font tyre - it is driving me NUTS. It's not due to sagging springs, suspension, brake calipers or bearings. I have taken it to an alignment shop before who told me it was within tolerance. However, I recently took it to another shop who altered the alignment. I wanted to check with the experts here to see if the changes they made look any good and if the set up now looks correct. ok, here we go :
Before After LHS FR caster -0°04' -0°04' LHS FR Toe -0°01' 0°08' LHS R Toe 0°09' 0°09' LHS R Camber -1°33' -1°33' Total Toe -0°07' 0°11' RHS FR caster -0°44' -0°43' RHS FR Toe -0°05' 0°03' RHS R Toe 0°03' 0°03' RHS R Camber -2°23' -2°23' I think the car may be pulling slightly less now but am have not yet had enough time to fully check it out. BTW, I recently changed to RB springs on Tokico blues but the car was pulling to the left before I did this. Thanks. |
damn formatting!! Must remember to preview my post in the future.
Numbers are meant to be before and after alignment for each parameter. |
Where are the front camber numbers?
Code:
At just a glance your rear needs some work. Left side has 3x the amount of toe as the right and the shop didn't adjust it? And look at the difference in camber from left to right. Has the car ever been wrecked? The front camber/caster is not really adjustable on an FC wihtout aftermarket plates so don't expect any changes there. |
I have the same problem except its pulling towards the right

The numbers are all weird.
Just by looking at the (front) toe, the car should've been pulling to the right. Was it really twitchy at (highway) speed? Toe-out will tend to do that. The front caster is all messed up too. Can you verify the front upper strut mounts are in the correct positions? Or has the car been in an accident? The rear camber is way off too. 1-degree between left and right is too much. Is the car lowered significantly? -Ted |
