Multiple ?'s Brakes & Speedo
 

Hey all, well this summer I plan on doing some significant go fast mods to my 87 n/a. And I was wondering if I were to add a significant amount of power to my car (say about 200 at the crank) should I upgrade to 4 piston calipers or just leave in the single pistons with good pads.
And also I am going to be using a 4.33 rear gear with miata gears in the tranny. And when I do this will I just be able to use the speedo pick up from a GTUs or will that be thrown off since I will have different tranny gears?

I hear that the 4-piston's arn't REALLY that much of an upgrade, and arn't really worth the trouble. As per the speedo-gear, yes the GTUs will suffice.

Ok sweet, I was just a little confused about the speedo gear cuz I remember when my buddy changed sprokets on his TL1000R it messed up the speedo, but then I remembered thatss was because the sprokets change the final drive ratio.
