Muffler advice

I have a Corksport catback that is welded onto an ITS setup. The muffler is starting to rattle like it's about to shit it's innards. I'd like to get something to replace it and have three criteria. It doesn't break my wallet, it shuts the car up, and it will last longer than a year. I've been looking at the mufflers on mazdatrix to have a shop weld in place of the Corksport muffler. Does anyone have any better suggestions? Needs to have a 3" I.D.

Everyone always says otherwise, but get a glasspack. It is a bit noisy, but doesnt get raspy like the mazdatrix. I am running dual glasspacks in place of the stock dual mufflers and they sound great. Everyone says "the rotary exhaust temp is too high and melts glasspacks" but this has yet to happen to me and the previous owner installed them 4yrs before I bought the car. The glass is still intact, imagine that.

every exhaust racingbeat makes is amazing. my car sat in the grass for 3 years and the exhaust is still shiney (yay stainless steel). I have the 3" turbo-back system and it's nice and quite (for a 3" performance exhaust).

look at vibrant resonators/mufflers.

Agreed. The local muffler guy was very impressed with the RB setup. He mentioned this as he was trying to drill a hole for a bung. Spend a little more $ and you get a much better product.

I have the borla cat back system which was like $450 (summit) and is all stainless and guaranteed for life.

The price has since jumped to $520

I got mine about 5 years ago.
