Milk-like coolant

I just changed the thermostat the other day because I was having some overheating problems. I put some new coolant in and 2 days later it looks like milk. Any reason why? Could it be the rad that's no more good?

oil plus coolant = milk

it might be mixing the oil with the coolant, if so, your engine is gone, sorry to say it
