Metal Valve Stems for BBS wheels?

I had a tire swapped at Firestone on one of my BBS rims and when I got it back it had a rubber valve stem. The thing looks stupid and sticks out beyond the rim. I cant go in public with that thing sticking out.

Anyone know where I can buy metal valve stems? Please don't say any tire store because I called them. Thanks..........

lol

I work at Discount Tire, we have chrome sleeve valve stems. It just a peice that can be put over the rubber stem, they also have metal caps.
Firestone put a long stem in there though... dumbasses haha idk how much discount would charge to break your tires down and replace the stems with shorter ones, shouldnt be too much though.

I definetly have to change it out. I think the stem grew overnight.

Thanks for the info. TougeRoads96 I sent you a PM.

what is up with tire shops changing the valves every time they install tires? Spring comes, time for the summer tires on the family hauler they put in new valves, six months later, winter tire install, they put on new valves. Even when I tell them not to change them they come back with "well is the valve leaks it'll be yoour problem!".
Give me a break!
I've had the same valves on my trailer for 15 years and they dont leak.

lol, thats just what they tell us to do... sometimes they do leak, then we have to deal with it when they come back. Better safe than sorry eh? Besides, alot of customers would bitch if we didnt.

They'd better not replace the valve stems on my 3 pc. wheels, or there would be hell to pay.
