i don't think you would want to know what i would pay.

i don't consider a car unless it has good paint, paint is one thing i refuse to deal with because of the price for a good paint job. since everything else i can do myself it is all relative to the price paid for the parts.

most others on this forum will probably agree with this sentiment too.

that said, GET IT PAINTED!

I would say 1500 bucks in its state. Why?

-Motor was Re-rebuilt by a first timer, something i wouldn't be to crazy about.
-Most of the parts you listed are stock parts people usually don't put on, same with maint, its almost a given they do this stuff if they're a good owner.
-No emissions = no smogging unless illegal which some people dont' like to get caught into
-Its also na, most people don't pay to much for these, i'm TRying to get 2.5k out of mine and i don't think i can so i'll lower the price.
-Location- there is not that many people that are interested in fc's where you live i would guess or in the market for one so that could also lower it.

You thinking to sell dustin?

Maybe around 1500 if the body is straight and ready for paint.

(Edit for sig violation...Cool sig, but it's nearly 1 MB in size!....Check your PMs)

Good compression doesn't decide the fate of coolant seals or oil seals though.

Well, even though the paint isn't the best, I have heard of relatively low mileage/decent condition 2+2s go for as high as $4k; even while not being in the best of conditions.

Given the condition of the car, and the prior knowledge that I have of FCs, I would probably offer somewhere in the region of $3k. Put the right motor to match that hood, and the price would be a bit higher, though....

A previous and knowledgable 7 owner would probably offer you 1500. Someone who doesn't know much about FC's would probably offer you 2500. I doubt anymore than that, if that high. Nobody as far as I know wants to buy a car that isn't painted.

well 1300 is what i would pay considering that you gotta take the priomer off if you wanna repaint it and put a new coat of primer on it.

gonna agree here... $1500 at the most. Remember a good paint job is gonna cost $3K, so you have to subtract that from any value you perceived.

Edmunds says $1000, and dealer retail would be only $1700

See if there are no problems it does not need a rebuilt motor.

Considering the work was done well on the body without paint. The interior is clean and very nice and the engin bay is nice and new rebuilt was cleand well and so on mist crap I would offer you between 1,300 and 1,900

Hell I just saw a 88Vert for sale in destin FL just a little way from my house. It had 84k on odomitor clean interior, a lame tape player with a trunk located 10disk changer. The engin was all stock including exhaust. The bay was very dirty, M/T. The paint was clean needs a good speed buffing to pull it back out and I did not notice any body damage above dor dings. Tails were semi glossy. He wants $4,500 for it and I have not checked any seals or compression on it, or drove it yet.

Too much even for a vert, but verts are worth a lot more than a SE

if oyu stripped most of the paint off before you primered it its worth $1400. If you get it painted and the interior was near flawless, itd be worth about $2000 to me prolly.
(i tend to over pay on 7's to get what i want, hence the $4500 cash i dropped for the one in the sig )

$3000 for a paint job for that car is way overkill.
You can get a pretty nice paint job for $1,200 to 1,500. If you did that and the body was straight and it ran like a top it would be worth $1200 to 1500.
